Higher or Lower Cricket Game
Pick a category. Guess if the next cricketer has a higher or lower stat.
How the Higher or Lower cricket game works
Higher or Lower is a free cricket stats game. You see one cricketer and their number for a stat, for example career ODI runs. Then you guess whether the next cricketer has a higher or lower number. Guess right and the next player steps in; guess wrong and your innings is over. It is the simplest cricket quiz to learn and one of the hardest to master.
How to play Higher or Lower
- Choose a category, such as Test runs, ODI wickets or T20I sixes.
- Player A's stat is shown. Decide whether Player B's number is higher or lower.
- Tap Higher or Lower, or use the ↑ and ↓ arrow keys on a keyboard.
- Each correct guess adds one to your score. One wrong guess ends the game.
Scoring, streaks and milestones
Your score is the length of your streak. Reach 3 in a row for a hat-trick, 6 for a maximum and 10 for a perfect 10, then push on for a half-century or even a century. Your best score in every category is saved, and at the end of each game you get a ranking from net bowler all the way up to all-time great.

Tips for a longer streak
- Think about career length. Totals like runs and wickets reward players with long careers, so experienced names usually beat recent debutants.
- Mind the format. Test totals build up over five-day matches, while T20I numbers are smaller and closer together.
- Rates behave differently. Averages, strike rates and economy rates do not grow with matches played, so a newer player can easily top a legend.
- Use the gap. When Player A's number is near the top or bottom of the range, the odds favour the opposite guess.
Where the stats come from
Stat-based categories are built from the CricketSky player stats database and refreshed every day, so career numbers stay current as matches are played. Only active player profiles are included.
