Scotland vs Zimbabwe Head to Head in T20I Cricket
Scotland and Zimbabwe have played 5 T20 International matches against each other, the first in 2016 and the latest on 21 October 2022. Scotland have won 1 and Zimbabwe 4. That leaves Zimbabwe 3 clear of Scotland in this fixture. Scotland's highest total against Zimbabwe is 177, against a best of 180 the other way. At the other end of the scale Scotland have been held to 126 and Zimbabwe to 134. Every one of those matches sits in the table above, with its winner, margin and venue. Updated 9 September, 2026.
Read a T20 head-to-head with a little more care than you would a Test or ODI one. The format has only been official since February 2005, when Australia beat New Zealand in Auckland, and it had no global tournament until the World T20 in South Africa two years later. Almost every rivalry here therefore rests on a much smaller sample than the same two teams have built up in the longer formats, and one three-match series can turn a record round that took a decade to build. The pool widened again in January 2019, when the ICC granted full T20I status to all of its members and fixtures that would once have gone unrecorded started counting.
Context matters as much as the raw count. A bilateral T20I is often played by an experimental side at the fag end of a tour; a World Cup or Asia Cup game is played by first-choice XIs with everything riding on it. The table shows which competition each match belonged to, so you can separate the two. Toss and venue carry unusual weight over twenty overs as well, particularly under lights where dew makes any total harder to defend. Rain-affected games go to DLS once both sides have faced five overs, and anything level after twenty each is settled by a Super Over - which is why so few modern T20Is finish without a winner.
