SuperSport Park, 26 March 2023, is the highest-scoring T20 international ever played. Johnson Charles made 118 off 46 in West Indies' 258 for 5; Quinton de Kock answered with a 43-ball hundred and South Africa chased it in 18.5 overs. 517 runs in a single match, and a record run chase.
The fixture has a habit of this. Chris Gayle made the first hundred in T20 international cricket against South Africa, 117 at the Wanderers in the opening match of the 2007 World T20 - and West Indies lost that one too.
