Bangladesh won the very first meeting, at the Wanderers in September 2007, in the inaugural World T20 - a six-wicket chase that was one of the results of that tournament.
The best cricket came at Mirpur in December 2018. Bangladesh made 211 for 4 in the first match, Evin Lewis replied with 89 off 36 in the second, and Shakib Al Hasan and Keemo Paul each took five wickets across the series.
Kingstown in December 2024 gave Bangladesh their biggest win in the format against West Indies - 80 runs, after bowling them out for 109 - though the return series at Chattogram in October 2025 went 3-0 the other way.
