Andre Russell made his IPL debut in 2012 with the Delhi Daredevils. In 2014, the Kolkata Knight Riders picked him in the IPL auction. He played for KKR for 12 years.
Andre Russel played 140 matches in IPL and scored 2651 runs with a strike rate of 174.18. Russell smashed 12 half-centuries and took 123 wickets. His highest individual score in the IPL: 88*.
He is known as KKR's match-winning all-rounder. As an all-rounder, he won many matches for KKR.
He is known as one of the most excellent all-rounders in IPL history.
Russel was part of the IPL-winning KKR team in 2014 and 2025. He will join KKR as a “power coach” in the Indian Premier League 2026.
